The main peak of the area — Greater Chimgan (3,309 m / 10,856 ft) — looks like a peak of a giant star. Lake Charvak is a popular resort in the Tashkent region, visited by thousands of people from all over Uzbekistan and neighbouring countries. The Amirsoy mountain resort offers a cable car ride up to 2,290 meters above sea level.

Morning — Departure from Tashkent

Depart by van or sedan from Tashkent to Amirsoy Skiing Resort (about 2 hours drive). Take a ride on the cable car to 2,290 m above sea level. Enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Tian Shan mountain range. Breathe clean mountain air, see giant plane trees and petroglyphs — ancient rock carvings.

Afternoon — Charvak Lake

Continue drive to Charvak Lake. The reservoir was created in 1970 by damming the Chirchiq River. The lake is surrounded by beautiful mountains on three sides. Enjoy the turquoise waters, swim in summer, or simply relax with the mountain scenery. Picnic lunch by the lake. Evening return to Tashkent.
